PAEC ECOTECH
PAEC ECOTECH
Electrónics that car for the planet
INTRODUCTION
CBTis No. 107 PAEC Project
This project was carried out by the entire student community of CBTis 107 with the purpose of collecting and collecting electronic devices that have already expired, such as phones, computers, televisions, microwaves, etc., from their homes to improve teaching and learning for the entire community regarding the environmental pollution they cause.
WHAT WAS DONE LAST SEMESTER?
Last semester at CBTIS No. 107, the PAEC ECOTECH project was carried out, where the collection of electronic waste was undertaken for proper separation according to its type.
The project took place on November 22, 2024, in the covered court of the school, attended by students and teachers.
An invitation was extended to schools and the general community to participate in this great project.
Afterwards, various students, teachers, and guests were able to attend, thus being able to donate or have their Electronic Waste collected.
The Curricular Learning Unit participated in the collection, promoting 'Con-ciencia,' a Tuxtepec free of electronic waste!
RESULTS OBTAINED
The Ecotech project was a very positive experience for the school and the community. A large amount of electronic waste was collected, exceeding expectations. Thanks to the participation of students, teachers and external people, devices such as cell phones, computers, chargers, keyboards, among others, were collected.
All the material was delivered to a company in charge of recycling it properly, which helped to prevent damage to the environment. In addition to the good results, the project served to raise awareness about the importance of recycling and caring for the planet. Ecotech left a positive footprint and demonstrated that when the community comes together, great changes can be achieved.
WHAT WAS EXPECTD DURING THE SEMESTER?
During the e-waste collection, the goal was to foster environmental awareness and technological responsability in the community. This activity sought to encourage the proper disposal of unused electronic devices, preventing them from ending up in places where they could contaminate the soil and water with toxic substances.
It also sought to generate greater citizen participation in sustainable practices, inviting people to reflect on the excessive consumption of technology and the importance of recycling
The Classroom, School, and Community(PAEC) program, which consisted of the collection of electronic waste (ECOTECH) took place on November 22 2024, at the facilities of Industrial Technology and Services Secondary School No. 107. The entire community was invited to bring their electronic devices the were in poor condition or no longer used. This year, the PAEC:ECOTECH program will take place on june 25,25 and 27, 2025
We were creating a positive impact on society by raising awareness about the risks and consequences of electronic waste. We were sharing informative and practical content that promoted sustainable habits.
At the same time, we gave people resources and alternatives for managing their devices responsibly at the end of their life cycle. Our goal was to reduce pollution, conserve natural resources, and protect the balance of the planet.
How was it being spread?
The information was being spread through digital and in person channels.
Social media, electronic videos, and other means were being used to reach a wider audience. These strategies helped the massage about electronic waste get across clearly and effectively to different sectors of society.
If you still have doubts about this topic or are interested in knowing a little more, we leave you these videos 😊😉
